La exposición “Ko´olel, transformado el camino” maneja varios ejes temáticos: Mujeres mayas al frente, El poder de las ideas, Libertad y derechos y Transformando y construyendo, los cuales narran los acontecimientos relevantes de cada época y dan a conocer a las mujeres protagonistas de cada momento.
“Ko´olel, transformado el camino”, se albergará en el Museo Regional de Antropología “Palacio Cantón”, el cual hace un recuento desde la época prehispánica hasta la contemporánea sobre el papel de las féminas en la historia, desde una mirada inédita, nunca antes contada.
La muestra será inaugurada el jueves 8 de Marzo del año 2018, a las 18:00 horas en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer, pues la muestra se realiza con apoyo del Gobierno del Estado de Yucatán y el Ayuntamiento.
La muestra permanecera hasta el día 31 de agosto del año 2018. Unas 170 piezas integrarán la exposición entre colecciones prehispánicas, que son parte del acervo del Museo, y material histórico, de archivos, fotografías y objetos de colecciones particulares.

I will be presenting some pictures in the exhibition "Ko'olel, transforming the way". The exhibition aims to take us on a journey through the role that women have played in the society of each epoch in the Yucatan Peninsula, from the pre-Hispanic past to the contemporary era, as well as the ways in which the path to new roles has been transformed .
The exhibition "Ko'olel, transformed the way" handles several thematic axes: Mayan women at the front, The power of ideas, Freedom and rights and Transforming and building, which narrate the relevant events of each period and make known the women protagonists of every moment.
"Ko'olel, transformed the way", will be housed in the Regional Museum of Anthropology "Canton Palace", which makes a recount from pre-Hispanic to contemporary time on the role of women in history, from an unprecedented perspective, never before told.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. in the framework of International Women's Day, since the exhibition is carried out with the support of the Government of the State of Yucatan and the City Council. The exhibition will remain until August 31 of the year 2018. Some 170 pieces will integrate the exhibition between pre-Hispanic collections, which are part of the museum's collection, and historical material, archives, photographs and objects from private collections.
